New in Repairs: Un-improving a Jadis.

A pair of Jadis JA-30 amplifiers blew up completely, then went to a Hong Kong “Shifu”, who redesigned and “improved” them rather than repairing them. The owner wanted them “re-Jadis’ed”. The job started with electronic archaeology, as no original JA-30 schematic could be found. The page follows the amplifiers from the blue-capacitor “improved” version to the finished pair back in the owner’s system.
